Attendence/Leave/Readmission/College Leaving/ Certificates Rules

Rules for Attendance.
  1. A student must attend 75% of the lectures delivered during the semester/session.
  2. A student will not be allowed to sit for the university Examination if one does not have 75% attendance in lectures.
  3. In special cases the principal reserves the right to waive off up to 12% shortage attendance. To avail this, the student must have a minimum of 50% attendance. Applying for leave will prevent imposition of fine only. The student will have to fulfill the condition of 75% attendance.
  4. A student's name will be struck off if he/she does not fulfill the condition of minimum 60% attendance at the end of each month.
Re-admission
  • Within 10 days of the name being stuck off, the student will have to seek permission from the principal for re-admission and pay the fee.
  • Re-admission can be seek only 2 times
 Leave Rules:
  1. Leave application upto 6 days shall be submitted the concerned tutor.
  2. Leave application 6-12 days shall be submitted to the senior tutor after it is recommended by the concerned tutor.
  3. Leave application exceeding 12 days shall be recommended by the tutor, Senior tutor and then submitted to the Principal.
  4. All leave application must be recommended by the parents and in case of hostlers by the hostel warden.
  5. Applying for leave will only prevent imposition of fine. The student will have to fulfill the condition of 75% attendance in lectures.
  6. Students participating in college competitions and functions will get their leave application recommended by the professor in-charge and submit it to their tutors. The student must keep a photo copy of the leave application duly singed by the professor in-charge and the tutor. Only those students who are sent by the college for participation in different activities can avail this facility. 
Rules Regarding Fines:
  1. Students absenting from college, without due permission will be fined 25 paise per period and 50. paise per day for missing more than one period. The fine may vary according to Pb. Govt. rules.
  2. Special penalty will be imposed for any activities of indiscipline or for spoiling college property. The discipline committee will decide the amount of fine.
College Leaving Rules:
  1. A student desirous of leaving college, will have to submit an application to the Principal duly signed by mother/father/guardian.
  2. All accounts are to be cleared before leaving college (fee, library books, canteen etc.)
  3. No fee except security amount will be refunded by the college
HEIS – Rules for refund of Fee: 
A student is eligible for refund of fee in case the seat is surrendered in writing well before the last date of admission without late fee as notified by the university subject to the following conditions:
1.      Only security within one year in case the seat remains unfilled
2.      In case the vacated seat gets filled up then whole fee will be refunded deducting Rs. 1000 as handling charges 
Urgent Information regarding Collection of DMC/Degree/Character Certificate:
  • Students are required to collect their Detailed Marks Ceritificate(DMC) and Character Certificate within three months of leaving the college.
  • Degree Certificate is to be collected within 2 years of declaration of result.
  • After this date Rs. 100/- will be charged as late collection charges.
  • Additional Rs. 50/- per year will be charged along with Rs 100/- mentioned above.
